Terms & Conditions of Registration
Enrolment
Invoices for tuition fees will be sent to parents/ guardians before the beginning of each term.
Invoices are payable at least 14 days prior to the beginning of term to secure your child’s place.
Families are responsible for reading the Prospectus and ensuring all contact and account details remain current.
Enrolment is subject to availability
Placement is confirmed only once terms fees and the yearly registration fee of $35 per family are paid
Trial classes do not guarantee enrolment
Teachers determine correct level placement. Progression is based on readiness, not age alone
Class changes may occur for student development
Student enrolments are automatically continued into the following term unless written notice is provided by email prior to the new term commencing. We require two weeks of notice in writing for any child who decides to leave the studio. Your account will be charged up until the end of the term, all fees are due and payable
Once enrolled in a class, students are expected to remain in that class for the duration of the term. Transfers or changes may only be approved for the following term.
Once fees for a new term have been invoiced, the full amount remains payable, regardless of withdrawal or class changes during the term.
During Term 1, a two-week trial and placement period applies to allow students to explore suitable classes and levels.
Once Term 3 has commenced, class changes are generally not permitted due to rehearsals and preparations for the end-of-year performance.
Fees and Payments
All fees are charged per term and paid in advance.
Fees secure a place in class, not attendance
No refunds or credits once term has started
Late payments may result in loss of place
Discounts (if offered) have specific conditions
Students are encouraged to participate in the annual concert performance. Costume production is managed externally, and a non-refundable costume fee applies to each performance item.
Parents or guardians who do not wish their child to participate in the concert must advise the studio at the time of enrolment so costume fees are not applied.
Should there be new restrictions put in place the studio will move back to online classes and all term fees will cover access to those continued classes. No refunds are available for fees as long as the studio is able to continue offering online classes under any Victorian Government Restrictions.
Missed Classes
Missed classes are not refundable or transferable
Make-up classes are not guaranteed
Extended absence may be considered individually
Tuition fees are not adjusted for classes missed due to personal commitments, illness, holidays, or public holidays. Make-up classes are not routinely offered, although special circumstances may be considered at management’s discretion.
Health & Safety
Students must not attend if unwell or contagious
Hair must be secured in a bun; correct uniform required
No jewellery in class
Parents must disclose medical conditions or injuries
In cases of illness and injury, if the parent / guardian is not contactable,
we will seek medical advice / care and the cost will be incurred by the parent / guardian.
Students are not supervised outside of class times. Students leaving the studio without a parent must provide the studio with a written consent letter signed by a parent/guardian. No responsibility is taken.
Code of Conduct
Respect for teachers and students is required
Unsafe or disruptive behaviour may result in removal
The school may suspend enrolment if necessary
Student choreographed dances remain the property of True Form Dance.
No students is to perform choreographed dances withour prior permission.
Parents are not to contact teachers directly.
No discussions will be entered into regarding casting for roles. These decisions are made by the the school only.
Photography & Video
You consent to photographs and/or video recordings of my child being used for promotional and marketing purposes, including the studio website, social media platforms, and other advertising materials to use these images for future years.
Used for teaching, assessment, and promotion
on the website, newsletter, programs, social media and general
promotional purposes.
No full names used without permission
Term Structure
Operates on school terms
No classes on public holidays unless stated
Classes may be rescheduled if required
Classes may be cancelled if the size quota is not met.
Liability
All reasonable care is taken for student safety
Parents accept inherent risks of physical activity
The school is not responsible for personal belongings
Each family participates in the activities proposed at their own sole risk and responsibility. Each family releases indemnity and holds harmless True Form dance, it’s teachers and staff, from and against all and any actions or claims which may be made against me or on behalf of other parties or in respect of or arising out of any injury, loss, damage or death caused to me or my property whether by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
Agreement
By enrolling, you are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions listed above.
